Process to Prototype Sprint
The fast path from idea to a tangible, testable prototype – not to yet another concept.
Between a good idea and a working product there's often a gap that can cost months: requirements are unclear, technical capacity is missing, and the longer it's discussed, the less actually happens. In the end the idea stays a slide deck instead of proving itself with real users.
The Process to Prototype Sprint closes that gap. In a focused project window – as a way of working usually 1–2 weeks, depending on scope – your idea, a process or a requirement becomes a testable MVP, prototype or first workflow. The goal is something tangible that you and your users can actually try, so you can decide based on facts rather than assumptions.
What you get
- A tangible, testable prototype, MVP or first working workflow
- A clear structure of idea, goals, requirements and data flows
- An honest assessment of whether the idea holds up – including "not like this, but like that"
- A reasoned recommendation for the next sensible stages of development
- Handover of the result and code, so you can keep working independently
How it runs
- Step 1
Define
We clarify idea, process and goal and sharply scope the sprint.
- Step 2
Map
We structure requirements, tools and data flows into a clear picture.
- Step 3
Build
We develop the MVP, prototype or workflow in the focused project window.
- Step 4
Validate
We assess value and function and determine the next steps.
A fit if
- You have a concrete product or app idea and want to know quickly whether it holds up
- A process should be turned into a first working workflow
- You lack the technical capacity to build a prototype yourself
- You want to create facts with limited investment before a larger commitment
FAQ
Do I get a finished product at the end?
No – and that's by design. The sprint's goal is a testable prototype or MVP that lets you validate the idea, not a fully polished product. That's exactly what makes the sprint fast and low-risk: you learn early whether and how it pays to go further, before investing heavily.
Are the 1–2 weeks a firm commitment?
No, that's a way of working, not a guarantee. Given available capacity, first MVPs or prototypes often take shape in that window, but the exact timeframe depends on scope and requirements. We set a realistic frame together before starting.
What happens after the sprint?
You decide how to proceed based on a real result. If the idea holds up, the prototype can be built out into a production-ready custom application in a next step. If it doesn't, you found that out with minimal effort – which is a valuable outcome too.
