As an IT project lead at a mid-sized medtech company, Daniel learned to structure complex requirements, steer technical implementation and connect business goals with IT processes. During his time as a freelancer, he built his own tools for process digitization, automation and AI integration.

Check Point's September report supplies two figures German media picked up: attacks per organization in Germany up 103 percent, and one in 39 GenAI prompts with high risk of data leakage. Both appear in the report as stated, but need context: Germany's absolute value sits below the global average, the prompt rate swings from month to month, and the report doesn't define 'high risk'. More interesting is which data types show up in prompts.

On 14 October 2026, OpenAI presented an EU report: weekly active users of Codex and ChatGPT Work at European SMEs stood at 8.1 times their May level on 5 October. The figure measures activity in OpenAI's own customer base, not productivity, and part of the rise coincides with the July launch of ChatGPT Work. For companies, the report's second figure is worth a look: the intensity gap.
